Cycle strategy
backtest
Test a repeat strategy that buys after a chosen decline from a confirmed short-term high, then sells at a target gain or stop loss.
Featured
Fees, taxes and currency effects are excluded. A short-term high becomes usable on the session after its reversal is confirmed, avoiding future information. Additional buys use new external cash only when executed. Return is net profit divided by total contributions. Targets and stops use the updated average cost. At most one addition per session after the entry day; same-session priority is stop, target, then addition.
